GeoNet is a next-generation offline GPS navigator that allows users to choose and utilize maps from a variety of map providers.

These maps are based on data from OpenStreetMap (OSM), a project dedicated to generating and disseminating free geographic information worldwide, ensuring global coverage and consistent updates.

In addition to OSM-based maps, GeoNet offers CityGuide maps with traffic data and regular revisions, as well as high-quality maps from national mapping organizations, each with different pricing, terms of use, and update frequencies. Within the GeoNet application, users can select the specific maps they require, supported by brief descriptions, star ratings, and trial options.

GeoNet operates entirely offline, eliminating the need for a continuous internet connection. Users can download the selected map data to their devices, enabling offline navigation and reducing costs significantly.

Key advantages of GeoNet include smooth performance and swift route computations, optimized hardware acceleration on most devices, quick map adjustments, and instantaneous route planning using available traffic information. Furthermore, daily online map updates prevent the need to wait for major map revisions, with real-time changes in road conditions integrated into route calculations daily.

The system's patented 'Jams-2' algorithm enhances route calculations by leveraging traffic data. In instances where traffic information is unavailable, statistical data is utilized. Dynamic Points of Interest (POI) deliver alerts about ongoing road incidents such as police presence, hazards, speed cameras, accidents, congested roads and more through audio and visual cues.

GeoNet also features preemptive notifications for fixed and mobile speed cameras and radars, recommends alternative routes during trips, and offers intelligent voice search capabilities. Importing Garmin GPX waypoints and PLT tracks for enhanced navigation is supported.
